The moment
The farewell dinner. Ten days of shared jokes, and the guide isn't allowed to pass numbers round.
Today
A sheet of paper goes round the table. Half the addresses are misread, and the photos everyone promised never arrive.
How it works here
One traveller opens a room — “Lisbon to Porto, September”.
Pass the phone round the table, or read the address out between courses. Each person sends one email.
Close it at dessert. One contact file on everyone's phone, before anyone flies home.
Say this
“Before dessert: if you want everyone's details, email this address once. Put your number in the subject, or attach your contact card. In a few minutes you'll all get one file with the whole table. Then it's deleted.”

- Twenty minutes, while the meal is on the table.
- What's kept
- Nothing. 15 minutes after the file is sent, the room's details are deleted.
