One parent collects numbers for a WhatsApp group, which is awkward to ask for and awkward to refuse.
How it works here
The instructor opens a room at the start of the session — “Tuesday antenatal, September”.
At the end, show the address on the screen. Anyone who wants to stay in touch sends one email; anyone who doesn't, doesn't.
Close it before the goodbyes. Everyone who joined gets everyone who joined.
Say this
“If you'd like the others' details, and for them to have yours, send one email to this address before you go. Number in the subject if you want to share it. No group chat, no list on my phone — you'll each get one contact file, and then it's deleted.”
